By Day: Tracey has been with Norcom for over 2 years where she works up front as a Receptionist and Final Document Specialist. She has many different tasks every day which include answering phone calls and transferring these calls to the appropriate departments. Tracey also works closely with the Post Closing Department where she helps with sending and receiving final documents. She loves her job at Norcom because of the people she gets to associate with each day and the diversity that comes with the position. The interaction she has with her coworkers makes her job exciting and fun because she gets to meet so many people.

By Night: Outside of work, Tracey’s day consists of going home and having dinner with her husband, Roy. She then heads off to the gym and when she gets back home she continues working on her second job, Ebay. Tracey has been selling products she finds at estate and tag sales for over 17 years, where her daughter jokingly calls it, “hillbilly handpicking”.  She really enjoys the connection she makes with people through this business as well as being on the hunt for items that are often requested. When it comes to having some fun, Tracey loves to try new restaurants and going on long drives with her husband where they have no particular destination to get to, just wherever the road takes them. Tracey’s husband and her children mean everything to her and she could not imagine her life without them.

By Day: Gerry joined Norcom in December of 2015 as the Director of Compliance. Soon after, in May 2016, he was promoted to General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. The only consistent thing with his day-to-day life at the office is enjoying a morning coffee. He works with most departments on a weekly basis; however, he works closest with the Closing, Processing, and Compliance departments. When asked about what he enjoys most about working for Norcom, he replied, “I’m constantly learning, continually challenged, and always feel like I am an integral part of a growing and ever-changing company.”

By Night: During the week, Gerry’s nights are usually pretty hectic. He is often seen supporting his kids at soccer or baseball when they have practices or games. When no events are going on, he runs any errands he didn’t get to over the weekend before coming home just in time to say goodnight to his wife (she goes to bed on the early side since she works on the Mike & Mike show for ESPN and needs to be there at 5am!) He will spend some time talking to his kids about whatever their current obsession is (currently WWE) before squeezing in some time to train for one of his running or triathlon races.  Gerry doesn’t have much free time, but when he does get some, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, being active outside – biking, running, swimming, and eating and drinking.  The most important people in his life are his immediate family. He states, “They make sure I don’t completely go off the deep end, most of the time.”  Gerry’s nights, like the day, are often very busy and hectic. At the end of each day he is exhausted and looks forward to sleeping.  He says, “It’s a crazy life, but I love it.”

By Day: Here at Norcom, Jocelyn works as our graphic designer. She has worked in the marketing department for 2 years and stays very busy throughout the day, working with all departments and the 30+ branches we have. Most of the time she spends her creative energy producing graphics for the whole company; however, as part of Marketing, she partakes in many other responsibilities as well. When asked what she likes best about Norcom, she says, “I love that I can express myself everyday through the work I do, while enjoying the company of all my awesome coworkers.”

By Night: After a busy day at the office, Jocelyn squeezes in some exercise before heading to the kitchen to make a delicious and healthy dinner for her and her fiancé, Jon. She then likes to unwind with Bravo before heading to bed. Even when she isn’t at the office, Jocelyn loves being creative. She loves to cook, paint, and decorate the house. For fun, she enjoys being outdoors with her friends, family, and her two dogs – Jax and Lala. She goes hiking, canoeing, driving on a quad, riding on a scooter, and having fires at night.  Jocelyn states her fiancé, Jon, as the most important person in her life, as “he is a tremendous support system” and she can’t live without him. Most people don’t realize that she paints, draws, and dabbles in photography and gets her creativity gene from both sides of the family.

By Day: Kristen Walther is branch manager of our Sturbridge, MA location.  Since joining Norcom in February 2011, she has worked hard to manage and assist her loan officer and processor, while also being out and about recruiting referral sources. Kristen says “I enjoy making the whole loan process as easy and convenient as possible for everyone involved.” She enjoys Norcom’s family culture and is endearingly referred to as Mama K.  A fun fact is about Kristen’s branch is that it is Norcom’s 3rd branch to sign on!

By Night: After finalizing her work for the day, she goes home to make dinner for her husband, 3 daughters, son, and grandson. When she’s done with dinner, she feeds and takes care of her 3 horses and dogs before heading to the gym to train. Kristen enjoys powerlifting and currently holds the national world and state women’s power lifting records.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, riding her horses, and watching her son Cameron race Motor Cross.

By Day: Tyler is our Retail Business Development Manager; working hard to create new partnerships with like-minded Branch Managers and Originators to grow Norcom’s brand and production. Using various means of communication, and a fair amount of travel, he works daily to recruit new branches and expand our presence. He has worked at Norcom for six years now and his favorite part of the job is “coming to work every day with some of my closest friends. I love that there’s a family feel and a supportive culture to Norcom that you don’t typically find in a corporate office.”

By Night: After a long day at work, Tyler typically heads home and likes to get outside by taking his dogs for a walk or going for a run. Tyler has been in the midst of an extremely exciting year, having recently married his wife Criste, and honeymooning in Italy. Together, they seem to be busy every almost every weekend either visiting family or friends, attending weddings, or working on their house. If he does ever get a free weekend, Tyler enjoys exploring new restaurants, playing golf, and cheering on his favorite Boston sports teams. One thing most people don’t know about Tyler is he has a nickname-“Ten Day Rhea” that he got from his high school band days...but you'll have to ask him for the rest of that story!
